As the founder, Haseeb Ullah oversees the development of HomeCostly, including its calculators, guides, content and overall user experience, with a focus on making home-project cost information simple, useful and accessible.
What we do
We maintain 33 calculators covering the most common home projects — from a boiler swap to a full extension — separately priced and worded for the UK and the USA. Alongside the calculators, our editorial team writes in-depth cost guides that explain what drives the price of a project up or down, and a blog covering seasonal costs and market trends.
What we don't do
We don't sell leads, take referral fees from contractors, or connect you with tradespeople. HomeCostly earns revenue from advertising alone, which is why our estimates have no incentive to be inflated or deflated in any direction — see our methodology for exactly how we calculate them.
