The price of a roof repair depends on the damage, roof type, access, materials and how much preparation is required. A small tile or flashing repair is very different from repairing a larger area after storm damage.
Access and labour
Safe access, ladders, scaffold towers or scaffolding can form a significant part of a smaller repair. Roof pitch, property height and restricted access can all increase labour time.
When several repairs are needed
If a roof has several minor defects, asking a roofer to inspect and price them together can be more efficient than arranging separate visits.
Before you accept a quote
Check that the quote states the repair area, materials, access equipment, waste removal and any guarantee. Ask what happens if additional damage is discovered after work starts.
